Mahindra KUV 100 is the latest release by one of the major automobile manufacturing companies in India called Mahindra & Mahindra. M&M has presence across the globe and its products are being exported to foreign countries. The manufacturing corporation is having their headquarters in Mumbai, India.

The KUV in Mahindra KUV 100 stands for ‘Kool Utility Vehicle’ which describes it as mini substitute for the actual SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle). It resembles as a small version of the already released models of Mahindra models like the XUV 500 and the TUV 300.

Earlier the successful models manufactured by the company include Mahindra Scorpio and Mahindra Balero, both of which have performed quite well in the Indian market.

The main automobile competitors to Mahindra & Mahindra in India are Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors. The KUV 100 model was launched in January 2016 and since then there were a large number of sales recorded in the market.

The KUV 100 looks bold, modern and masculine in terms of its style and design. The appearance shows that it is a small SUV considering the interior and the exterior factors of the family vehicle.

The model comes in 4 major variants namely K2, K4, K6 and K8. Also K2+, K4+ and K8+ are available that include additional features and cost a little higher that the former variants. It is available in seven different colors such as white, black, silver, blue, orange, red and grey.

KUV 100 has ample spacing in the interiors. The interior parts of the family vehicle do not match to the standards of Maruti parts and its services. Five seating capacity and six seating capacity versions of the model are present for the customers to choose. The exterior looks stylish and it falls in the hatchback segment. It uses 12 liter 3 cylinder mFalcon G80 indigenously developed engine for its petrol model.

The mileage is pretty okay and driving is more comfortable with smooth gear system as per the customer’s reviews. However it gives a little vibration to the vehicle while moving.

The pricing of the KUV 100 is very competitive and affordable. Its main competitors include the Maruti Swift and Hyundai Grand i10 which too are categorized in almost the same price segment.
